Dear Kirk, db sent me the heartbreaking news about your courageous son Mason. Though I never had the privilege of meeting your son, his photo on the website speaks volumes about his character. I hope your sadness will be tempered by the pride you must have in him, and the love and joy he brought into your life. The Boyle family will be praying for you and your family and young Mason. With deepest sympathies, JB.

Dear Kirk, Danielle and Mateo,

I work with your Aunt Karen and have great empathy, respect and now tremendous sadness for your family. While there are no words I can think of to say to make an awful time better, I do want to offer my home or any other way I can be of support to you and your family or friends when you are in NY.
My heart goes out to you and my thoughts are with you over this unbelievable loss. I wish I had the privelege of knowing Mason in person.
With sympathy,
Lauren

I dont know you, but David Henderson is a member of our meeting (church) and raised your concerns with us. We are all holding you and your family in the Light and our prayers are with you as you go through this passage and celebration of the gift of Mason's life - although God decided to take him back.

Kirk and Danielle,
I shared Mason's story with my kids in Pachijal, shortly after you left Ecuador. I reminded them that Mason and Mateo had donated their books and craft supplies to us. We talked about how scary it must be for mason, but they decided your boys would've been great friends had they had the opportunity to visit us.

I know Mason's life was short, but you filled it with wonderful things. You are great examples for your boys and all who know you. I will continue to keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Con paz y amor, Katie Jones
